Welcome to Galaxy Tab Gaming!

With a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 "Hummingbird" processor under its hood one would expect Samsung's first contender in the tablet market to be great for gaming... and indeed it is. Unfortunately, the Galaxy Tab's 7" screen is a little too big for what's normally found on Android devices and this has proven to be a problem. Some games just don't scale up to the larger screen correctly.

This wiki was created to help our fellow Galaxy Tab users find games that work (and not work) on the device. Let's play more and wonder less!

What can we expect from this wiki?

Games. Games. And more games! As mentioned above this wiki will feature Android games especially those that run well in the Samsung Galaxy Tab. As Android Tablets mature we can expect more games to work flawlessly on the device.

Other than games expect to see articles of apps too.

We currently have 6 articles. Some of the articles have been borrowed from Wikipedia but they will be edited someday for originality. We'll be adding more articles after completing the templates that are required for the wiki. Until then please stay tuned.

If you want to help or if you have things to share please don't hesitate to contribute.

What are these images?

GTG link QR

Around this wiki you will find images like the one on the right. That is a two-dimensional matrix barcode known as a QR code. QR stands for Quick Response as the creator intended the contents to be decoded at high speed. It was developed in Japan by Toyota's subsidiary Denso-Wave in 1994. It is one of the most popular two-dimensional barcodes in use today.

QR codes can contain a lot of textual or numerical information including web links, contacts and so on. QR codes in this wiki will contain Android Market download links to games and apps. Reading QR codes on the Galaxy Tab requires the installation of a barcode reading app.
